Part 1 has 24 questions and covers high school algebra. Review similar problems covered in high school math classes.Practice Exam Part 1 Practice Exam Part 2 On campus or remotely either through proctorU or an NCTA Taking our Practice Exams to prepare is strongly encouraged. You may only take the exam one time per exam window – see the Repeat Policy below for additional details. Both parts of the exam must be taken in the same session, and you must pass Part 1 in order to take Part 2. The exam is given in two parts, each with a 30 minute time limit, and your combined results on each partĭetermine your BMAT score. Your BMAT scoreĭetermines the classes in which you are allowed to register and stays valid for one year. Based on your exam results, the department will enter a BMAT score into your Banner student record. The Math Department requires an exam for placement in many courses. Please see our Math Boot Camp announcement for details. Completing the sessions includes a chance to retake the Placement Exam. NOTICE: The Math Department is running free refresher sessions for Algebra (August 7 – 11) and Trigonometry (August 14 – 17).
